Bargain Barn Cashier — Full-Time

The Bargain Barn Cashier role is onsite in Sarasota, FL. Pay is $16 per hour. The position supports Goodwill Industries Manasota’s Bargain Barn by serving customers, operating the register, and helping manage donated merchandise. The cashier greets and assists customers, processes sales accurately, maintains a clean and organized sales area, and supports stocking and merchandise rotation. The role contributes to the store’s stewardship of donated goods, customer service, asset security, and training opportunities.

What you'll do

• Greet customers in person and by phone
• operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash receipts
• bag or wrap merchandise
• assist customers
• clean and maintain the front of store and cash-wrap area
• stock and rotate merchandise
• support promotions and sales-floor organization
• follow safety and security procedures
• may assist with training new cashiers.
