Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant role is onsite in Union City, CA, with an annual salary of $90,000–$125,000. Vintners Distributors oversees convenience stores, fuel stations, car washes, and quick-service restaurant brands across California. The accountant supports corporate accounting and period- and quarter-end close processes, preparing schedules, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The role also supports audits, internal controls, business partners, and process improvements, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.

What you'll do

• Support and review general ledger close and financial reporting
• assist with month-end close
• support sales tax and quarterly returns and annual 1099s
• prepare journal entries, close schedules, reports, and reconciliations
• handle financial and government audits
• update internal control documentation
• support business partners
• coordinate accurate expense, revenue, and accrual booking
• support US GAAP adoption, fixed assets, and annual operating and capital planning.
