The Milieu Therapist PRN role is onsite in Plano, TX, with an as-needed schedule and required weekend availability. Compensation is not specified. ERC Pathlight provides treatment for eating disorders and mood, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions. The therapist supports patients in inpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization programs through curriculum-based groups, meal support, observation, and behavioral coaching. The role contributes to patient safety and treatment by documenting care and assisting with de-escalation and crisis management.

What you'll do

• Facilitate curriculum-based and advanced groups
• provide meal monitoring and support
• document groups, meals, check-ins, and observations
• support de-escalation and crisis management, bathroom monitoring, and outside breaks
• conduct self-harm and suicide assessments
• support morning routines
• collect weights, vitals, and urine in some settings
• implement behavior plans for some patients
• and provide coverage for primary therapists with clinical leadership support.

Why this role

Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mental health or a related field and an intern or associate license are required. The 18-month experience requirement is waived with a relevant master’s degree. On-call shifts may be required based on business needs.
