What you'll do

• Assess residents and identify significant changes in condition
• complete nursing assessments and documentation
• notify physicians and families of changes
• oversee nursing staff
• conduct daily rounds
• coordinate care with physicians, staff, ancillary departments, providers, and families
• verify physician orders
• administer medications and treatments
• maintain controlled-substance counts
• ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations
• respond to emergencies
• and promote resident dignity, safety, comfort, and quality of life. An RN license in West Virginia, Ohio, or a compact license and CPR and First Aid certification are required.
