What you'll do

• Document visit reasons and chief complaints
• take patient vital signs
• prepare patients for examinations
• coordinate care with physicians
• stock and prepare examination rooms
• assist patients who need help
• apply dressings and give injections when assigned
• maintain supplies and inventory
• review charts and process referrals, lab, and x-ray orders
• assist with medication refills
• update patient information in data systems.
