Associate Project Manager

Job overview

Compensation is $75,000–$95,000 per year. The Associate Project Manager is a full-time role based in either Charlotte, NC, or Newark, NJ, with a flexible work program. The position supports Perr&Knight’s PK1Cloud Services team, within a firm providing insurance consulting and software solutions. The role supports projects from initiation through completion by coordinating plans, budgets, stakeholders, and deliverables. It helps teams maintain alignment, manage risks and dependencies, and improve project practices while developing toward greater project ownership.

What you'll do

• Support assigned projects and workstreams from initiation through completion
• help define scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs
• monitor budgets, burn rates, forecasts, and account financials
• communicate updates and document decisions and actions
• coordinate cross-functional teams
• facilitate Agile activities, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• track risks, issues, and dependencies
• coordinate project closeout
• document lessons learned and contribute to process improvements.
