The IBM iSeries System Administrator role is onsite in Cary, IL. Compensation is $60,000–$100,000 per year. The administrator monitors and maintains the IBM i and Infor XA ERP environment, supporting system stability, batch processing, backups, and nightly operations. What you'll do

• Monitor IBM i/AS400/iSeries systems for messages, errors, and hardware alerts
• apply PTFs and perform routine maintenance
• manage the job scheduler and batch jobs
• troubleshoot job failures and message waits
• provide front-line Infor XA/MAPICS ERP support
• maintain printer and output queues and environment refreshes
• execute and verify backups
• assist with disaster recovery and media rotation
• manage spool files, overlays, and forms/label software
• document activity and communicate issues
• work with vendors and internal IT staff.
