Counter Sales Associate — Part-Time Paint Store

Job overview

The Counter Sales Associate works onsite in Chesapeake, VA, with flexible scheduling. The store is open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.–5 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.; it is closed Sundays. Compensation is not specified. Spectrum Paint supports customers selecting paint and coating products. The associate assists customers in person and by phone, prepares and matches paint, processes transactions, and supports inventory, loading, and store upkeep. Occasional product deliveries using a company vehicle may be part of the role.

What you'll do

• Greet and advise customers
• answer questions and take orders in store and by phone
• mix and tint paint
• identify and match colors
• process cash and card transactions
• assist with inventory and incoming stock
• load and unload customer materials and delivery vehicles
• occasionally deliver products
• stock and clean the store.
