What you'll do

• Lead and mentor technicians and junior engineers
• identify and implement changes to reduce variation and scrap and improve productivity
• support R&D, manufacturing, marketing, customer service, customers, and suppliers
• apply Six Sigma principles to identify process parameters and cost-reduction opportunities
• manage projects
• conduct validations
• improve manufacturing capability
• assist with gauges, fixtures, tooling, and methods
• conduct design and process FMEAs
• support cost reduction and avoidance.

Why this role
