Senior Driller

Job overview

The Senior Driller role is primarily field-based and based out of Columbus, OH, with frequent travel throughout Ohio and occasional out-of-state assignments. Pay is $35–$40 per hour. The role supports MSG’s geotechnical engineering and environmental services teams. The Senior Driller leads field drilling work and provides subsurface data and investigation services for projects. The role operates and maintains drilling equipment, coordinates with technical staff, documents field activities, and supports safe, effective project execution at client sites.

What you'll do

• Serve as field safety representative and ensure compliance with health and safety plans, company policies, and regulations
• operate drilling equipment for subsurface investigations and sampling
• install monitoring instruments
• inspect and maintain rigs, vehicles, tools, and support equipment
• review project requirements with engineering and technical staff
• transport equipment and materials
• maintain field records
• represent the company with clients and project stakeholders
• travel and work extended hours or overnight assignments as required.
