What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and applicable multi-axis machines
• configure software and machine settings
• select, measure, and mount tools and attachments
• monitor production against specifications
• inspect finished parts with precision measurement tools
• document production and quality results
• maintain shop cleanliness and safety
• perform basic preventive maintenance
• run established programs and production jobs
• make minor program edits and machine adjustments
• read technical drawings and work instructions
• calculate basic speed and feed rates
• escalate technical issues.
