The Project Manager – Capital and Infrastructure Projects role is onsite in Niskayuna, NY, with annual compensation of $80,000–$160,000. Navarro Research and Engineering supports federal clients in clean energy, nuclear, and environmental fields; this position supports capital and infrastructure projects at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory’s Knolls site. The role leads or assists multidisciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle, helping deliver facility, laboratory, office, utility, and infrastructure work within changing budgets, regulatory requirements, and government approval processes. It contributes to reliable site modernization through planning, coordination, risk management, and oversight of contractor execution.

What you'll do

• Lead multidisciplinary teams through capital, facility, laboratory, office, and infrastructure projects
• define scope and execution strategies
• establish cost, schedule, procurement, and resource plans
• adapt to changing budgets and funding cycles
• guide projects through governance and government approvals
• coordinate engineering, construction, procurement, finance, operations, sponsors, and oversight stakeholders
• oversee general contractors and subcontractors
• identify and mitigate risks
• capture lessons learned.
