Maintenance Technician II — Second Shift

The Maintenance Technician II works onsite at CAVA Foods in Verona, VA, on second shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; schedules may include overtime, holidays, or adjustments based on production needs. Compensation is $35–$39 per hour. CAVA Foods manufactures products for CAVA restaurants and retail partners, supporting the company’s food-quality standards. This experienced technician supports safe, reliable production by troubleshooting and repairing equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and improving reliability to reduce downtime. The role also provides technical guidance to Maintenance Technician I and responds to plant emergencies as directed by supervision.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls issues
• identify reliability improvements
• train and guide Maintenance Technician I
• troubleshoot PLC I/O, sensors, drives, and HMI faults
• perform preventive maintenance
• repair and install or remove equipment
• maintain housekeeping
• respond to plant emergencies as directed
• follow lockout/tagout procedures
• complete maintenance paperwork and work orders
• assist with equipment operation as needed.
