The Welder/Metal Fabricator is an onsite role based in Tenino, WA, with an hourly pay of $46.30. This position supports the maintenance department at CalPortland by repairing and fabricating processing equipment for aggregate and ready-mix plants. This role exists to maintain operational efficiency by ensuring that machinery and structural components are properly fabricated and repaired. The fabricator works independently and as part of a team to support plant maintenance and safety initiatives.

What you'll do

• Uses a wide variety of skills to maintain or repair equipment used to process aggregates, including conveyors, screen decks, cone crushers, feeders and pumps.
• Fabricates and assembles structural metal products, such as frameworks or shells for machinery, ovens, tanks, stacks and metal parts for buildings and bridges.
• Ensures a safe work environment, following company’s policies and procedures.
