Part-Time School Psychologist — Waterboro/Lyman Area

Job overview

The Part-Time School Psychologist role is onsite in the Waterboro/Lyman, ME area, primarily at Lyman Elementary School, with potential PreK evaluations at other listed area schools. Pay is $50–$65 per hour. The schedule is two days, or 14 hours, per week, with flexible days. Pediatric Developmental Services partners with schools and communities to support children. The psychologist provides counseling, supports students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs, and contributes to evaluation and individualized education planning. The role works with families, school staff, and interdisciplinary teams to support student development and meet required service and documentation timelines.

What you'll do

• Provide counseling to students and parents
• participate in multi-tiered support for students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• participate in initial and annual IEP development as appropriate
• collaborate with and coach families and staff
• follow recordkeeping, eligibility, timeline, and procedural safeguard requirements
• maintain a schedule for required meetings and services.
