The Product Engineer is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, CA, with an annual base salary range of $160,000–$180,000, plus equity and benefits. The backend engineer builds and operates secure, scalable cloud-native systems that address enterprise customers’ data privacy and security needs. The role contributes to the reliability and evolution of Ketch’s SaaS platform through service development, architecture, and close collaboration with stakeholders and customers.

What you'll do

• Build solutions for enterprise data privacy and security problems
• develop server-side components primarily in Golang and work with data stores and processing pipelines
• co-own and evolve a fault-tolerant, secure microservice architecture
• apply data security and protection techniques
• work with stakeholders and customers to understand use cases
• contribute to SaaS production quality, performance, scalability, reliability, and efficiency
• improve build, deployment, and operations practices
• keep current with technologies and contribute to open-source communities.
