What you'll do

• Plan and manage distribution center operations against KPIs and customer expectations
• coordinate yard moves and schedules with the customer’s yard manager
• oversee personnel, logistics, quality assurance, space, productivity, and customer service
• manage workflow, staffing, and site budget
• lead improvement initiatives
• coach and develop staff
• maintain safety, security, and regulatory compliance
• review operational reports and time sheets
• interview, hire, onboard, and observe drivers
• monitor DVIRs
• inspect equipment and yards
• address performance and employee relations issues.
