The Registered Nurse (RN) – Preop and PACU role is onsite in New York, NY. Compensation is $45–$55 per hour. Primary Vascular Care is a specialized vascular practice serving the long-term care population through bedside consultations, diagnostics, and vascular procedures in procedure suites and partner facilities. The nurse administers and monitors moderate sedation for vascular procedures, prepares and assesses patients, and monitors vital signs, airway status, and consciousness. The role supports patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures, documents medications and responses, prepares emergency equipment, assists the procedural team, and monitors recovery through safe discharge.
What you'll do
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation during vascular procedures
- assess vital signs, airway status, and level of consciousness
- prepare patients with IV placement, medication administration, and pre-procedural assessment
- maintain patient safety and comfort
- document sedation medications, monitoring, and responses
- ensure emergency equipment, medications, and monitoring devices are ready
- assist the procedural team while maintaining sterile technique when appropriate
- collaborate with physicians, radiologic technologists, and surgical staff
- monitor recovery and support safe discharge.

Why this role
