The Full-Time Assistant Pre-K Teacher role is onsite in Rochester, MI. Compensation is $15–$17 per hour. The Goddard School provides an educational experience intended to help children become confident learners ready for school and life. The assistant teacher supports the Lead Teacher in classroom instruction, care routines, and maintaining a safe, engaging learning environment. The role contributes to children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through supervision and positive interactions.

What you'll do

• Assist the Lead Teacher with age-appropriate lesson plans
• support children’s development through engagement and positive interactions
• prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, clean environment
• supervise and provide individualized support
• communicate with families about progress and daily activities
• follow health, safety, and licensing requirements
• and support daily care routines.
