Math Instructor/Tutor

Job overview

The Math Instructor/Tutor role is an onsite position in Ogden, UT, at Mathnasium of South Ogden; instruction may also be delivered online or in a hybrid format. Pay is $15 per hour. Mathnasium Learning Centers teach children math through the Mathnasium Method. The instructor delivers individualized instruction in a group setting, assesses student progress, and communicates with families. The role supports students’ understanding and mastery of math, from second through twelfth grade.

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and collaborate with team members to deliver individualized instruction
• assess student learning and engagement
• communicate progress with parents and guardians
• teach or tutor in-center, online, or through hybrid delivery using Mathnasium methods
• learn digital educational materials
• maintain a safe, professional learning environment
• assist with administrative tasks as needed.
