The Charter Academy Teacher Aide works onsite in Immokalee, FL. Pay is $15.00–$22.76 per hour. RCMA Immokalee Community Academy is a K–8 charter school serving children of Florida farmworkers and agricultural migrants through a dual-language English/Spanish program. Under the Charter Academy Principal’s direction, the aide works with teachers to implement the approved educational program, support students’ academic and developmental progress, and maintain a safe, structured classroom environment. The role also supports communication with families and classroom routines, including after-school time.

What you'll do

• Safeguard students’ health and safety
• collaborate with teachers to support instruction in language, literacy, math, social studies, science, arts, and physical development
• assist students’ cognitive, social, emotional, and psychomotor development
• communicate student progress with parents
• support classroom routines and behavior
• maintain school-readiness documentation and assist during parent meetings.

Why this role

Teacher Aide 1 requires at least 60 college credit hours or a passing Parapro test and 1–3 years of educational-environment experience. Teacher Aide 2 requires an associate degree and 1–3 years of experience. Teacher Aide 3 requires a bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of experience. Level 2 fingerprint-based background screening is required for selected candidates.
