What you'll do

• Oversee general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, grant billing, contribution accounting, and financial reporting
• direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close
• maintain internal controls and accounting policies
• ensure GAAP and nonprofit accounting compliance
• administer financial systems
• oversee grant and contribution accounting
• lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning
• coordinate audits and regulatory filings
• supervise and develop accounting staff
• improve workflows and oversee procurement.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance, at least five years of accounting or finance experience, and at least two years in a leadership role. CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
