- Supervise and direct licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants
- oversee daily nursing activities and compliance
- participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers
- assess residents and communicate changes
- document assessments and outcomes
- carry out physician orders
- administer medications and monitor responses
- oversee wound care and skilled treatments
- coordinate appointments and transportation
- conduct rounds
- collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- support staff evaluations, coaching, and communication.
