What you'll do

• Attend truck scales and determine load weights and volumes
• collect gate fees, balance receipts, and prepare deposits
• generate scale tickets and enter data
• answer questions from drivers and the public
• direct vehicles to appropriate areas
• prepare and review reports
• maintain records
• observe and communicate safety rules
• dispatch trucks and develop daily fleet schedules
• relay truck issues to maintenance.
