The Veterinary Technician / Assistant — Surgery role is onsite in Waltham, MA, at MSPCA-Angell West. Perioperative care, assistance with inductions and recoveries when directed, and attentive patient recovery help the hospital deliver surgical care.

What you'll do

• Communicate and work with staff and visitors
• work independently or as part of a group depending on needs
• provide and ensure quality perioperative patient care
• assist anesthesia technicians and others with inductions and recoveries when directed
• recover patients with diligence and compassion
• participate in training new surgery staff and department visitors.
