What you'll do

• Provide nursing care within scope of practice
• direct nursing staff
• follow charting and incident-reporting procedures
• follow procedures for narcotic counts, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction
• document changes in patient condition
• use the Quality Life Manual to identify and monitor appropriate programs
• notify departments of room changes, leaves of absence, admissions, and discharges
• make rounds with physicians when necessary.
