The Clinical Counselor, Residential Services role is an onsite, full-time position in New York, NY, with compensation of $31.79–$38.46 per hour. The role supports Pride Site, a New York State OASAS-certified residential treatment program within the Center for Recovery and Wellness, which provides addiction treatment and recovery services. The counselor provides case management and evidence-based group counseling for adults with substance use diagnoses, and works with clients’ families and significant others. The role contributes to individualized treatment by coordinating care with providers and the multidisciplinary team, monitoring progress, and maintaining clinical documentation and required reports.

What you'll do

• Provide biweekly individual case management sessions for up to 20 clients
• coordinate care with medical, mental health, and social service providers
• participate in multidisciplinary interventions
• provide evidence-based group counseling
• complete treatment plans, assessments, progress notes, and discharge plans
• maintain clinical charts and compliance
• submit required reports
• monitor toxicology reports
• coordinate medical and psychiatric evaluations and referrals
• contact mandating sources and collateral contacts
• conduct referral-source outreach
• attend meetings, training, and supervision.
