Functional Family Therapist

Compensation is $1–$1 per year. The Functional Family Therapist role is home-based in the Wytheville, VA area, with travel within a one-hour drive and flexible hours required to meet family needs. Strategic Therapy Associates is seeking clinicians to provide evidence-based family therapy to children and adolescents ages 10–18 and their families. The therapist manages a caseload of 10–15 families and provides at least one hour per week of home-based family therapy to each assigned client. The role uses the Functional Family Therapy model to support families’ needs, while completing accurate documentation and working toward certification; the employer pays for FFT certification and offers clinical supervision for licensure to qualified Residents.

What you'll do

• Manage a caseload of 10–15 families for 8–26 weeks depending on family needs
• provide at least one hour per week of home-based family therapy to each client
• work flexible hours to meet family needs

• transport clients as needed when appropriate.
