Member Services Associate — Front Desk

The Member Services Associate — Front Desk role is onsite in Custer, SD. Starting pay is $14.00 per hour, depending on experience. The part-time position is approximately 20 hours per week over two to three days. The Custer YMCA describes itself as a community hub promoting healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility. The associate welcomes and assists members, guests, and program participants, supports membership retention and satisfaction, and helps prospective members learn about programs. The role also handles administrative and facility tasks that contribute to a safe, welcoming YMCA experience.

What you'll do

• Provide in-person and phone service
• conduct interviews and cause-driven tours for prospective members
• sell memberships and provide program information
• maintain relationships with volunteers and members
• address membership concerns and report unusual or unresolved issues
• follow member-service and safety policies
• handle administrative and opening or closing procedures
• and assist with towels and locker rooms as needed. Janitorial duties are also included.
