The Lifeguard role is an onsite, part-time position in Malden, MA. Pay is $16–$20 per hour. The position is with the Mystic Valley YMCA Aquatics Department, supporting pool safety and aquatic programming. The lifeguard maintains active surveillance and responds to emergencies in accordance with YMCA procedures. The role also helps ensure children reconnect with guardians after swim class, maintains required records and equipment, and may perform chemical testing and cleaning when not guarding.

What you'll do

• Maintain active surveillance of the pool area

• ensure children connect with guardians after swim class

• assist with Aquatics Center cleaning when not guarding.

Why this role
