What you'll do

• Validate patient insurance coverage and communicate coverage issues to managers
• check prior authorization requirements and initiate requests
• coordinate paperwork, clinical notes, and forms
• follow up on authorization status
• apply knowledge of payer payment and authorization processes
• use familiarity with ICD-9/10 and CPT codes
• communicate with physicians, sales representatives, payers, utilization reviewers, and internal stakeholders
• use Excel and CRM systems
• manage multiple inquiries and resolve problems.
