The planner supports MILDEC planning, synchronization, and execution for SOCCENT, integrating research, analysis, and operational planning. The role develops and coordinates plans, strategies, assessments, and briefings with command elements and other information operations participants; travel may occur as required.

What you'll do

• Support MILDEC planning, synchronization, and execution
• research and analyze ways to integrate MILDEC into plans and operations
• coordinate with Information Forces, special technical operations, and other capabilities
• provide MILDEC assessments, strategies, and recommendations to support the SOCCENT Commander
• support Operations Security planning
• integrate command elements and cyber expertise into planning
• participate in strategic planning and course-of-action development, analysis, documentation, vetting, and presentation
• draft and coordinate operational strategies and planning documents
• provide written and oral recommendations and briefings
• apply joint doctrine, JOPP, APEX, operational art, and operational design
• maintain an electronic mission-continuity resource. Travel may be required.
