What you'll do

• Lead rail-related survey field operations
• coordinate travel, lodging, transportation, and field schedules
• operate and maintain survey equipment
• follow company and railroad safety requirements
• collect survey data to established standards
• conduct topographic, boundary, construction staking, bridge, utility, as-built, and control surveys
• coordinate with project managers, clients, railroad representatives, and field personnel
• train and oversee technicians
• maintain field notes and quality-control documentation
• communicate risks and safety concerns.
