Technical Project Manager — Custom Machinery and Automation

The Technical Project Manager role is onsite in Novi, MI, with stated pay of $100,000–$110,000 per year. Connect Force is recruiting for an expanding industrial equipment manufacturer working on custom machinery and automation projects. The manager leads projects from customer requirements and kickoff through engineering, manufacturing, assembly, testing, installation, and acceptance. The role coordinates cross-functional teams, schedules, budgets, technical decisions, and customer communication to deliver equipment to requirements and quality standards.

What you'll do

• Manage custom industrial equipment projects through engineering, manufacturing, assembly, testing, installation, and final acceptance
• develop schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables
• coordinate engineering, manufacturing, procurement, assembly, and quality teams
• monitor progress and resolve technical challenges
• maintain project documentation and reports
• communicate with customers
• coordinate testing, shipment, installation, commissioning, and startup support.
