Peer Support Specialist

The Peer Support Specialist role is onsite in Mandeville, LA, with compensation of $11–$16 per hour. The specialist draws on a personal recovery journey to provide hope, model coping skills, and advocate for clients with severe and persistent behavioral health disorders. The role supports clients in building daily living skills, setting recovery goals, developing action plans, and connecting with community resources, while maintaining case documentation and confidentiality.

What you'll do

• Visit clients in their communities, support daily life and social skills, and connect clients with community resources. Help clients identify strengths, needs, and goals
• develop recovery tools and action plans
• participate in case planning
• maintain a client caseload and documentation
• and comply with HIPAA and the Certified Peer Support Specialists Code of Ethics. Maintain a clear driving record to drive company vehicles and transport clients.
