Service Technician — Toftrees Apartments

Job overview

The Service Technician role is onsite at Toftrees Apartments in State College, PA, with hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and an on-call rotation approximately one week every fifth week. Pay is $20–$23 per hour, paid biweekly, with an additional $140 per week on call. The technician helps Berger Communities maintain residents’ homes and shared community spaces. The role keeps the apartment community operating smoothly by responding to service requests, preparing vacant homes for move-in, maintaining grounds and common areas, and completing preventive maintenance and inspections. Snow removal and resident-focused service are also part of the work.
