What you'll do

• Develop and optimize signal timing plans
• analyze traffic operations using engineering and simulation tools
• evaluate signal performance using field observations, system data, and performance measures
• support detection, transit signal priority, emergency vehicle preemption, and multimodal strategies
• participate in design reviews and pilot projects
• train and advise agency personnel
• prepare technical documentation
• mentor junior engineers
• support acceptance testing and implementation.
