What you'll do

• Hire, train, manage, evaluate, discipline, and terminate nurses and medication assistants
• determine staffing levels and prepare schedules
• provide coverage as needed
• ensure staff training and certification
• mentor staff using the electronic care system
• supervise and evaluate performance
• provide in-service training
• follow budget guidelines
• report resident status to the General Manager
• maintain resident records and department documentation
• audit assisted-living services for regulatory compliance
• respond to emergencies and support fire or disaster procedures
• maintain required continuing education and management reports.
