Bilingual Receptionist (Spanish/English)

The Bilingual Receptionist (Spanish/English) role is onsite in Stamford, CT, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and a one-hour lunch. Compensation is $19.50 per hour. The role supports Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County, a nonprofit early childhood education and care provider serving families in Stamford. As a front-desk point of contact, the receptionist welcomes visitors, directs them to the appropriate department, and supports family registration and office operations. The role also provides clerical, supply, and specified nutrition-related support to help the center serve children and families.

What you'll do

• Greet and direct visitors
• maintain reception-area security and visitor records
• answer and route calls, take messages, and schedule appointments. Support family registration appointments, receive and distribute deliveries, operate office equipment, perform data entry and filing, order and track supplies, assist with tuition and cash collections, distribute payroll checks, and open or close the building when necessary. Print and distribute menus, facilitate classroom consumable orders, and assist the Kitchen Monitor with daily tasks as needed.
