What you'll do

• Manage monthly and annual financial close, targeting a 15-day monthly close
• prepare GAAP financial statements
• oversee general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
• manage grant accounting, cost allocations, and restricted funding
• maintain internal controls and accounting policies
• coordinate annual financial statement audits and Single Audits when applicable
• oversee fixed assets, restricted net asset releases, leases, and debt schedules
• supervise and develop accounting personnel
• improve accounting processes
• support budgeting, financial analysis, and management reporting.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, at least 7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, and at least 3 years of supervisory or management experience. CPA, nonprofit accounting, grant accounting, Single Audit experience, and knowledge of 2 CFR Part 200 are preferred.
