Senior Technical Lead, Application Security Remediation

The Senior Technical Lead, Application Security Remediation role is onsite in McLean, VA. Pay is $60–$68 per hour on W-2, all inclusive. The position leads security remediation initiatives across engineering teams. The role combines hands-on software development with technical leadership and security governance. It exists to analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities, implement fixes in Java/Spring Boot and Angular applications, and coordinate remediation work across teams.

What you'll do

• Lead security remediation across multiple engineering teams
• analyze findings from security tools
• prioritize, track, and drive vulnerability closure
• implement security fixes in Java/Spring Boot and Angular
• conduct code reviews and recommend secure coding practices
• develop reusable remediation patterns
• collaborate with engineering, architecture, and security teams
• lead and mentor a 3–5 member remediation team
• provide status updates, dashboards, and executive reporting.
