Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) – LTC Nursing Home Dialysis Den is an onsite role in Chicago, IL, paying $40–$48 per hour. The position provides hemodialysis services in a dedicated dialysis den within a long-term care or nursing home setting. The RN delivers and supervises safe hemodialysis care, monitors patient response and clinical results, and coordinates with nursing facility staff and the nephrology team. The role also supports patient education, infection prevention, regulatory compliance, and continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Supervise, mentor, and direct Patient Care Technicians
• perform and supervise hemodialysis assessments and treatments
• document patient condition and treatment outcomes
• assess treatment response and recommend adjustments in accordance with physician orders
• monitor weights, fluid status, laboratory results, and vascular access
• administer ordered dialysis-related medications
• implement physician orders
• respond to complications and emergencies
• communicate significant changes to the care team
• maintain infection prevention and safety practices
• coordinate treatment schedules
• educate patients and families
• participate in care conferences, quality activities, meetings, and ongoing education.
