Production Operator — Fabrication

Job overview

The Production Operator role is onsite in Suwanee, GA, with starting base pay of $15.85–$18.15 per hour depending on assigned function; eligible second-shift hours receive an additional $1 per hour. Habasit manufactures conveyor belting and power-transmission solutions. The operator fabricates belts to customer specifications in the assigned fabrication function. The role supports product quality and production by operating equipment, checking work against specifications, documenting completed work, and maintaining safety and productivity standards.

What you'll do

• Depending on assignment, measure, cut, press, and customize fabric belts
• perform specialized belt modifications or operate automated fabrication equipment
• inspect and measure products
• complete work orders
• set up and operate machinery
• load and position materials
• monitor equipment for defects or malfunctions
• retrieve work instructions
• perform minor machine maintenance
• prepare materials or products for shipment
• maintain safety, quality, housekeeping, and productivity standards.
