The Machine Builder role is onsite in Auburn Hills, MI, with compensation of $25–$30 per hour. GABLETEK is hiring for work supporting automated manufacturing systems and production-line equipment. The builder assembles, installs, and integrates mechanical components and equipment, helping ensure systems are aligned, tested, and ready for operation. The role works with engineering and controls teams during commissioning and supports safe project installation at customer sites.

What you'll do

• Install, assemble, and align mechanical components
• interpret drawings, blueprints, and layout schematics
• perform MIG/TIG welding and fabrication as required
• operate forklifts, hoists, and rigging equipment
• install conveyors, robotic cells, fixtures, and structural components
• align, level, and anchor equipment
• assist with startups, testing, and troubleshooting
• work with engineering and controls teams during commissioning
• follow OSHA and company safety standards
• travel to customer sites as needed.
