Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant, Primary Care

The Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant role is onsite in Tampa, FL, and pays $19–$21 per hour. What you'll do

• Prepare examination rooms
• escort patients and document identity, vital signs, chief complaint, and medical history in the EHR
• assist providers with examinations and procedures
• administer immunizations, injections, and medications under provider supervision and clinic policy
• perform EKGs, vision tests, and other screenings
• collect and process lab specimens
• maintain charts and pre-charting
• coordinate referrals, orders, and test results
• support patient education
• assist with check-in/check-out, calls, messages, scheduling, inventory, and quality improvement
• follow HIPAA and managed care protocols.
