Senior Accountant

Job overview

The Senior Accountant role is hybrid, based in Radnor, PA, with three days per week onsite. The compensation range is $120,000 to $140,000 per year. The client is a rapidly growing global organization building its finance function after a carve-out from a large pharmaceutical company. Working with the Controller and Assistant Controller, the Senior Accountant supports accurate financial reporting, compliance, and accounting policy design. The role strengthens financial controls and processes as the organization scales organically and through acquisitions.

What you'll do

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements
• complete month-end and year-end close tasks
• record and reconcile transactions
• prepare balance-sheet schedules and variance analyses
• oversee general ledger entries and reconciliations
• support management reporting
• maintain internal controls
• assist with external audits and sales and property tax filings
• improve accounting processes and systems
• participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses
• design, document, and enforce accounting policies and procedures.
