What you'll do
- Conduct shift staff meetings and address nursing-care problems
- report recommendations to the Director of Nursing
- coordinate nursing services with other resident services
- investigate accidents
- make unit rounds and observe residents
- ensure emergency equipment checks and adequate staffing
- orient, evaluate, and support nursing staff
- oversee resident care, medication administration, treatments, and records
- participate in quality improvement, infection control, surveys, and committee meetings.
