The PRN CT Technologist role is onsite in El Paso, TX. Compensation is not specified. The position supports patient care at Procare El Paso Emergency Room East. The technologist performs CT and X-ray imaging and related technical and supportive patient-care tasks, helping physicians and other staff meet patients’ needs and produce diagnostic images in accordance with applicable requirements.

What you'll do

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, and PACS
• perform imaging exams and notify the physician of results
• provide basic clinical procedures under physician or nurse direction
• maintain radiology records and quality documentation
• collect laboratory samples and perform testing
• maintain supplies and equipment
• perform 12-lead EKGs
• and provide secondary front-office support when required.

Why this role

Requires graduation from an AMA-approved radiology technology school, current BLS certification, and Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist certification as required. Two or more years of imaging experience is preferred.
