CNC Operator

Job overview

The CNC Operator role is onsite in Rochester, NY, with compensation of $22–$27 per hour. The position supports manufacturing production by operating and setting up CNC machining centers and other production machines. The role exists to produce parts safely and to specification while helping maintain reliable manufacturing processes. The operator sets up tooling and fixtures, loads programs and materials, monitors machining, inspects output, and works with management to troubleshoot and improve assigned processes.

What you'll do

• Safely set up and operate CNC machining centers and other production machines
• install fixtures and tooling, load programs and materials, and produce first pieces. Edit CNC code, diagnose process issues, implement corrective actions, inspect and record quality results, maintain equipment, and train CNC operators on machines set up.
