What you'll do

• Prepare estimates, budgets, bids, and proposals
• review architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings and specifications
• perform quantity takeoffs and evaluate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• solicit and level subcontractor bids
• coordinate with project stakeholders
• identify value-engineering opportunities and project risks
• develop bid packages and procurement strategies
• support buyout, negotiations, and purchase orders
• conduct jobsite visits
• maintain estimating records and cost databases
• present estimates and recommendations.
